Since 2009, we have been providing aid to developing countries around the world.

How HERO makes a Difference:

Medical

HERO provides basic medical care of acute and chronic illnesses. Medications are provided, and various vaccinations are given. Medication and vaccinations are biased off the needs and areas with the greatest greatest risk of public concern and priority.

Dental

Dental care is provided, when available, for extractions, acute dental emergencies, dental cleaning, and education. Preventative dental care is given including fluoride treatment, and regular brushing supplies. Dental equipment is also purchased for professionals at the dental clinic.

Acupuncture

Local Acupuncturist are provided to bring a locally recognized treatment to those seeking care. These services assist us with establishing future care by local providers. This helps create an arm of their care more obtainable and sustainable.

Maintenance

HERO repairs and maintains current infrastructure that is in need of repairs. Local residents are provided the opportunity to learn new skills, with the goal to help them be independent and self-reliant. HERO assists with the development of alternative power sources, and clean water programs. Clean water programs include proper waste management.

Gynecology

OBGYN evaluations and care are part of HERO’s humanitarian efforts. HERO provides patient assessments, Ultrasound examination, laboratory studies, emergency triage, and plan of care development. Education programs, and distribution of menstrual kits and birth control are also provided.

Vision

HERO provides residents with basic visual screening evaluations, and reading glasses are provided.

Clean Water

Our goal is to help prevent disease, improve quality of life, and develop sustainable for future use and generations. We do this by teaching simple handwashing, personal hygiene, water filtration systems, and proper toilet facilities and maintenance.
